15 October 2026 – KEX Express (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“KEX”), the country’s leading express delivery provider, continues to reinforce its commitment to social responsibility through financial support for the Department of Land Transport (DLT). The contribution will support the “Ministry of Transport Volunteer Center, Department of Land Transport” in preparing relief kits and urgently distributing essential supplies to communities affected by flooding. As the latest flooding continues to affect more than 20 provinces and over 2.4 million people, the initiative aims to help alleviate hardship among those currently facing the crisis, while also supporting communities in the process of recovery.

The contribution was presented by Mr. Stephen Bao, Chief Marketing Officer of KEX Express (Thailand) Public Company Limited, and received by Mr. Sorapong Paitoonpong, Director-General of the Department of Land Transport, together with the department’s executives and officials, at the lobby on the first floor of Building 1 at the Department of Land Transport. Participants also joined in packing essential items into relief kits to support the Department of Land Transport’s assistance for flood-affected communities. The effort is intended to help people in areas still facing prolonged flooding, travel disruption, and shortages of essential supplies, as well as communities where water levels have begun to recede, but residents continue to require support as they work to resume their normal lives.
The flooding has affected communities across Thailand’s Northern, Central, Western, Eastern, and Southern regions, causing widespread damage to homes and property while disrupting transportation routes, livelihoods, and the daily lives of many people. Although water levels have begun to recede in some provinces, numerous areas remain under close watch and continue to require recovery support. Cooperation among the public and private sectors, together with the wider public, is therefore essential to ensure that assistance reaches affected communities quickly and responds directly to their needs. This initiative underscores KEX’s commitment to conducting business responsibly by harnessing the strength of its network and partnerships to stand firmly alongside Thai people in every community, offering encouragement as the country works together to overcome the flood crisis.
